The McCorkindale brothers went two-for-two in Oamaru at the weekend, as the pair walked away with both key pieces of silverware.
Continuing their stellar form on the greens, the siblings ensured it was nothing but the red of Waireka dominating at the the Windsor Richards Association Croquet handicap and Open Association Croquet Championships at Oamaru’s Awamoa Gardens.
Logan McCorkindale was a comprehensive winner in the Open Championship playing and pegging out six games and numerous triple peels.
The next best was Aorangi’s Graeme Simpson with four wins to his name.
Following in his brother’s footsteps was Reece at the Windsor Richards event, winning all of his games 26-0 in a period of about 45 minutes.
The Waireka youngster trumped hometown favourite Bob Wickenden, who had to settle for second.
McCorkindale won the Croquet New Zealand silver award, getting 12 hoops without a break, and will now represent South Canterbury at the New Zealand Windsor Richards finals.
The pair are in Nelson this week for the Croquet New Zealand South Island Association Croquet Championships doubles which begins today.
Logan will then stay on for the singles event.

An action-packed rep encounter at the Ashburton Oval finished with Mid Canterbury’s under-17s on the right side of the ledger.
The age group selection won a gripping showdown with South Canterbury by five wickets, with a complete team performance trumping a star showing by the visiting captain on Sunday.
The visitors racked up 250/6 batting first at the Domain Oval, off the back of a colossal turn at the crease by Toby Clemett.
Coming in at 20/1, the South Canterbury skipper hit 154 off 129 balls, which included 18 fours and a six.
It may have been a different story had he had support around him, although the number three bat managed to dominate the strike and scoring in a third wicket century stand alongside Logan Sowden (27) and again in a fourth wicket stand of 73 runs.
Hugh Saunders (2-29) and Lachie Gardner (2-39) were the pick of the Mid Canterbury attack.
It was a shaky start in reply for the hosts who lost Patrick Currie in the second over, bowled by Jarrod Phillips.
Angus Jemmett was joined by brother Lachie at the crease, as the pair firmed up the pursuit during the first 10 overs.
South Canterbury hit back with the wicket of Angus in the 10th over, to leave the hosts at 46/2.
Devon Flannery added 10 before he was caught to leave the visitors on top.
Jemmett and Toby Robinson then dug in to wrestle the advantage back in what was ultimately the decisive period of the match.
The duo took Mid Canterbury past 100, before adding another 107 runs in a fourth wicket stand totalling 143.
By the time Jemmett nicked behind for 80 in the 35th, the hosts were very much in the box seat, with just 44 required from the final 15 overs.
Robinson took up the mantle to ensure his side would get home, dominating the scoring over the next few overs.
He eventually fell for 86 with the win in sight, however his 80-ball effort proved to be a match winner, alongside Jemmett who also took a spectacular one handed catch in the gully, diving away to his left in the first innings.
The hosts got home in the 44th over, with five wickets and 37 balls to spare, to round out an outstanding win.

It was a glorious walk in the sunshine for Allenton this week.
Its two club sides were both successful in their T20 outings in Ashburton on Wednesday, with the Progressive Livestock team particularly clinical.
They stormed to a 120-run win over the Coldstream Stags after Jack Meyrick thrashed an unbeaten 106 off 57 balls.
Coming in at number four, he hit 12 fours and five sixes in an electrifying stint at the crease which hauled Allenton to 192/6 off 18 overs.
The Stags will see it as a missed opportunity to restrict Allenton after having them at 26/4 – Hamish Mackenzie’s 4-16 proving he is the most potent of the Stags bowlers with the ball.
It was two late partnerships, both involving Meyrick, both totalling 62, which saw Allenton get away on their opponents.
Coldstream in response could not garner much momentum, or any semblance of a knock to rival Meyrick’s, bowled out for 72 in the 14th over, the wickets shared around Allenton’s attack.
The club’s senior team meanwhile completed a seven-wicket win against Lauriston off the back of an impressive bowling display.
After winning the toss, Lauriston were all out for 70 (for 8 wickets) with Rob Hooper the only player to get a start with an unbeaten 20.
Jaideep Singh, while expensive off his two overs, did the most damage with 3-23.
Allenton scampered through to the total in 9.4 overs, with Satveer Singh, as he so often has this season, the linchpin at the crease.
He blasted four fours and four sixes in his unbeaten 48 to drive Allenton home with ample time up their sleeves.
